Default Kicked out of ClubRoadster

LOL just kidding! Long time lurker here...finally made the upgraded jump!

Came from a long line of cars lol but as for roadsters...4(3 running) Miatas. 2 NBs and 2NAs.

My NB1 was fun but it was lacking the power, suspension upgrades, and whatnot. Ultimately I wanted either a FD or AP2. But in the back of my mind, I wanted to upgrade to a NB2 or NC2. I did find a Mazdaspeed Miata that I wanted to buy but after weeks of thinking and planning...I just couldn't spend over 10k for a Miata(even if it was an MSM). And the NC2 slipped my mind after going back with my 2 intended targets. At the end I chose the AP2 for what I do with my driving life, I travel all around cali a lot, want good power, solid chassis, and top down. In my eyes I would be beating the FD with all the driving and commute, I do love driving an FD! Weeks of searching I finally found the one!

My old NB1 - OEM hardtop, Tein Basics coilovers, Torsen, etc. My plan was to get a supercharger and stiffer suspension. But I loved the Tein for daily.

2004 Honda S2000 - OEM Hardtop, clean paint, came with some Drag wheels(CR Kai replicas I believe). Femaled owned.

Plans so far - All fluid change, Better tires!(Continentals are on it and I don't like them lol), real CR Kais, exhaust, K&N FIPK, OEM front Lip, exhaust, bucket seat.

History - I made a pact with a couple of my buddies back in 2008-09(When I drove my DC5 and S14) that we'll all get S2000s after test driving one of our friends car, and then later on I got side tracked again when I test drove my friends NB2 and ever since it's been Miatas loll

Just stopping by to say HELLO!!! And would be great to meet other S2000 owners!!

Welcome! Miatas are awesome cars. I'm flirting with getting one as a cheap autocross/track car. How do you like the S compared to the Miata?

I like it a lot! Feels kinda like my NB upgraded on steroids! The S fits me like a glove and I thought the miata did but now the miata feels like I'm wearing mits? haha

I do feel it is totally a different class than the miata. Everything about the S is so solid!! I love the power, and weight gain is noticeable. I miss the door locks(open and close for both locks), the middle window switches, and some more I'm forgetting.

I am very happy with my purchase, best decision yet!

Get a NB...and track that car! I had 2 NAs and the car does not feel at the same to me like the NB. NB is a better platform, NA bigger, cheaper, easy to find mods.

I spent my first two years on track in a 95 Miata and now I've got an AP2.

We're kindred spirits!
