know what fun with a 07 S2000 really is ?
I have been trying to find a used S2000 but the few deals I was interested in, fell through. I rented a Lotus Elise for a day and found I was not crazy about it as a daily driver, absolutely awesome car but not for daily, so back to a S2000.
So, in my driveway is a 07 Silverstone
Best part is I test drove a 06 the dealer had and purchased the 07 that was all wrapped up in the back with the white sticky plastic they put on for transport, I got to un-wrap it and un-wrap the seats, remove all the sticky plastic protective parts, etc. And then I got to put the first mile on the street on it.
Unfortunately, I had other things to do today so I only put 39 miles on it but I have the day off tomorrow so I will fix that The next 600 miles taking it easy on the motor are going to be painful.
Weird part, for the last few months I wanted Laguna Blue and nothing else but I could have been talked into Rio Yellow and I willingly and happily got the Silverstone one. I did not like the Sebring Silver but the Silverstone is quite nice. My daughter is glad I did not get the Rio Yellow, she said if she barfed on the car it would actually improve the looks of the car (hint, she did not like Rio Yellow) and the Laguna Blue when it came time to write the checks just did not impress me like the Silverstone did.
Going to be FUN !
