Default Leaving a bagged VW behind for this.

Recently grown impatient of my mkiv gti and all the bs problems I've had with it, not to mention someone just hit and run my car on Friday so I will most likely be buying my girlfriends 2002 ap1 red s2000. Need some tips on what to look out for by the way. Not sure if I want an ap1 or ap2... I hear mixed thoughts such as the engine is better in the ap1 because it revs higher but the differential is weak or something along those lines. Anyways heres my German nightmare, never thought id wanna go back to a Honda after my civic but after driving an s2000 I can't stop thinking about how much fun it is...I think I'm in love lol. Finally ready to let this thing go..

Hello. I also came from a MKIV VW. Bought it new from the dealership back in 2004. I never had any issues with it and it's now my daily.

Welcome! I'd say buy that NFR AP1 and put CCW's on it

This is a very helpful thread though...

Plenty of ap1 vs ap2 threads.

I got my AP1 b/c it was a great deal. Besides that I wanted a bare bones car with no stability control and I like the 9K redline. They are both great cars, but I like the look of the AP2 better.

Think he ment don't slam the crap out of the S. I had slammed cars before and you know they become real fun stupid to drive.
