Default Let me introduce myself!

Hello to all. I am a proud owner of a MY04 Silverstone/Black S2K.

I've always loved the S2k ever since it came out and knew quite a bit about the car since its introduction.

Oddly enough, I was not originally trying to get one when I was car shopping in January. You see, my father who works part time at Autoway Nissan in Brandon Fl
Told me to come by and take a look at some used 350 Zs they had on the lot that were lease returns with low miles.

So i did and to my dismay all the ones they had were automatic with exception of
a base model one which i was not interested in because it had no LSD, leather
or cruise. I still took it for a test drive though.

And then there it was, sitting on the elevated display thingy in the front of the lot.
I turned to the salesman and said "can I try that one?"

"No problem " the guy says. And the moment I sat in the car I felt like Michael Shumacher(sp) climbing into the cocoon of an F1 car. Turned the key, pushed the button, found reverse and we were off!

First thing I noticed was the smooth shifter, short in its throws, inspired me with visions of Laguna Seca, or Monoco. And the engine literally sang to me. And when the salesman said to take it on the interstate it was on!

On the on ramp I got a good feel for the handling aspects off the car under acceleration and was impressed. And when I punched it and got to the higher RPMs I was $-$-$-$OLD!!!!

18000 on the ODO $23,000 out the door
Instant Honda driving BLISS

PRICELESS!

Hello,

In your Honda you should feel like Jenson Button or Rubens Barrichello.

Who is Michael Schumacher anyway.....

Welcome.

Well...
There were some issues between the Dutch and the Germans & Italians a couple of years ago.

No.

I'm sorry for being a little sarcastic and apologise in advance.

Jenson Button (UK) and Rubens Barrichello (BRA) drive for the HONDA F1 team this year. Note that Honda bought BAR Racing so now its totally Honda, meaning chassis and engine.
V8's this season (or tuned down V10's) but i think Honda is going to use the V8's.
Honda is keen on getting results (= wins) this year, driving with Toyota's, Renault's and the Italian cars wich name i dont seem to remember at this time.
There are more teams, but they are chassis and engine combinations like McLaren / Mercedes and BMW / Sauber.
Much much more will be found online.

Thanks for the lesson. I wish I had Tivo so I could catch the races I miss. Do you have a link for the race schedule showing which network it would be on and what time?
