Im looking at an 01 ap1 with 80k on the clock. He's selling it for 8500 but his car was broken into 2 years ago. He has a clear record on carfax. The seats were stolen and the top had 2 cuts in it. The seats are replaced, however the top was patched and wasnt replaced. There are 2 patches and I'll post of the pics later today.

Now should I be weary of this deal or back out or consider this a good deal? i dont really care about the top because I want to get a hard top anyways, but what should I look for, how much should I pay, and when should I back out?

 

There is other fish in the sea take ur time and wait on something better .

 

agree. You'll find something better, rather you spend a little more upfront then save some now and regret later because you'll end up spending alot more fixing it.
