so im looking to pick up a boosted s2k soon ..what should i look for when inspecting the car over its got a built alien 2.0 with a percision 67/65 ..car was once owned by joey fisher i believe. any input would help! smile.gif

 

Take it to a shop that specializes in turbo cars and have them give it a once over. I would make sure there is no play in the turbo and also check the valves in the head. To be honest, I don't think I would buy a turbo s2000, I would opt to buy a stock s2000 and turbo it myself. Too many issues could arise from a poorly installed/tuned turbo setup.

 

unless it's from a highly respected proven car from a member here i wouldn't buy it either, just better to diy...
