Default Lovely new AP2

Well after always loving these cars I finally bought one, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I was looking around at what to buy then some people gave me an idea about an s2000. I found 2001 for sale with 40,000 miles on it, took it for a test drive and I loved it, the high revving motor, the way it wraps you in the interior, and the whole 3,000 rpm's of vtec. I had to have it. Unfortunately I did not get approved for this car, and I was pissed lol. (21 and no established credit.) So the search continued, about a week later I came across a 2004 S2000. Started reading on them more ap1 vs ap2 and what not. I went and looked at it, and got approved, the car came with a K&N filter and had a catback Invidia Q300 exhaust. Surprisingly it had that on there at the dealership.. took it for a test drive and loved it more than the ap2. I actually got approved for this one, however I had to trade my 1998 BMW 323is in for it, really didn't wanna part ways with it but I had to do what was necessary to get it.

Sadly I totaled it after 11 days of owning it. I was pulling out of a parking lot and and everyone wanting to hear it, vtec definitely got loud on it and I shouldn't of showed off. Coming out of a turn from the parking, it was a cool night about 40 degrees out, and shifted a little over 8,000 rpms and it slid out from underneath me. I had no time to react and slammed into 6 poles and 2 cars at a dealership, I was heart broken and wish I would of known what the car was capable of.

Now the brand new 15,000 mile 2005 Honda S2000.

I will definitely never let that happen again, and am gonna treat this amazing machine with the respect it deserves. Save all the "race moments" for the track and just be more safe. I learned my lesson, but it sucks you have to do it the hard way sometimes. I am glad to be an owner of an s2000, never in my life would I thought I would own a Honda, but an s2000 is an exception be safe everyone thankyou for looking.

I start with saying i'm sorry....... sell the car.... or... grow up.. we all did stuff ( for respects ) i'm no angel... but some a-hole came along and told me to grow the fffff up... so... I am so sorry... those were my first thoughts.. i'm not anyone to say it....

beautiful first car, may I ask and forgive me for missing it.. what happen to it.. if you have it are you planning to part it out..

ok..... back to the important part, I read your.... i'll never do it again... I think I said that around my second or third or fourth or fifth time I did stuff...

beautiful car... and your right.. it does deserve respect.. but.. it's a sports car.. for auto crossing.. spirited drives... be safe.. and again, sorry.. and i'll delete this post if you want.. but.. plenty of drivers on this board would say more... less... worse... better... your the one responsible.. for you.. peace

Love the pic's... honest and explanitory

Well I will not be selling it. So I guess the only option is to grow up trust me. The night it happened I couldn't of been made fun of or been put down anymore than what someone else would say on here. Even had people making meme's if that's what they are called about my wreck. The most important part is I was by myself and no one was hurt.

The car has been taken away by the inaurance company. Sadly they didn't give me the option to buy it back. But I wasn't financially capable of that anyways then just from buying the car 2 weeks prior. Wish I could've kept it. But now I have a new one and I absolutely love it.

That NFR is mint, keep her safe man I would hate to see that car be crashed or poorly modded.

I appreciate your honesty though about how your previous S got totalled.

We've all done stupid things at some point in our life, the best thing you can do is learn your lesson and move on.
