I've seen this before and just realized the STI and EVO aren't on that list. Last year I got quoted for the two cars and the premium was wayyyy higher than my S. Go figures, its such a numbers game with insurance.

I agree. My mother is my agent at state farm. When I was going to get rid of my last S I quoted 3 cars; Elise, Z4M, and the CR.

The Z4M was the cheapest, the Elise was 2x the Z4M and the S was in the middle.

Our S2k is cheaper to insure than the Protege5 wagon we got rid of a few months ago....

Same thing happened to me. I had a 99 Civic Si and some guy ran into me at a redlight and denied fault. My insurance company gave me the money for my car cause there was a witness saying he saw me at a complete stop. My insurance (nationwide) is now suing the other insurance company for the money they gave to me.

Long story short my insurance per month for the Si with full coverage and comprehensive was 160 a month. I pay 130 now with the S. I'm 23 with a couple tickets .
