Hey fellas
Currently drive a 96-M edition miata in San Diego with some basic mods and was looking for another car. 11 year old car + konis + uphill commute in bumper to bumper traffic made me want to switch out. I'm getting a different job but everytime I get into the miata now all I can think about are those excruciating commutes. Plus some minor problems are popping up here and there, but more frequently as time progresses.
I was doing an apples/oranges cross-shopping. is300, legacy GT, s2000.
Only 2 things all 3 had in common was the fact that they werent fwd, and that they were about the same price (budget was 18k +/- 2k including taxes) narrowed it down to the LGT and s2k. S2k wound up winning out because I figured I'm not married, no kids, in a couple years I'll never have a chance to own a car like this again until im gray. (One can argue that the Miata is "like" it but when Oddyseys outdrag your miata on the onramp something is up.) The miata will be a daily driver until I pay the s2k off (or I find a great deal on a nice beater).
Anyway found a car with some miles but is in great condition, gonna check it out on Saturday.
Any of you guys have any suggestions on beaters around 4k? My cousin has a millenia and it's pretty nice for the money.
cheers
