Default The MR2 is gone

I watched my MR2 drive away, I miss it. Got a little teared up knowing I won't see it again, it went to a good home though.

So, before MR2 withdrawl sets in, I need to plant myself in a nice Berlina AP1!

Going to go looking tomorrow and thursday at a few I have found. Black 02's are few and far between in my area, unfortunately. Are the tranny problems with 00-01 really that bad? And does Honda-care take care of them?

MY00 had second gear replaced and the clutch (due to the buzz)... but that was all covered by TSB's... bonus in a 02-03 is the glass rear window....

Excellent! You've probably heard that Berlina is a bear to keep clean, but if you know what you're doing it's awesome!

Good luck in the hunt. Get a compression test done on the early year engine and replace all the fluids if you end up going for one.

Berlina may be hard to keep clean, but in my experience I fall in love with the car all over every time i clean it up real nice. Good luck in your search man.

I wont be modding it until I pay it off (which would be by the end of this year)

Found 3 Berlinas, 2 02 and one 03, all around 50k miles, all asking 19. Offered 17, hoping I will atleast get a negotiation out of the deal. Dont want to finance more than 9.

Crossin' my fingers!

There seem to be a lot for sale in Atlanta.

Picked up a black 03, 55877 miles in Alabama. 19k out the door (though I need to pay TN tax). Insured full at 2700 a year. I have bills to pay, heh.

Jesus, coming from the old MR2, this car is extremely quick, and handles AMAZINGLY. Night and day difference

i too came from a NA 93 MR2. Both handles extremely well, but they do have their differences. I can go into corners faster with the S2000, on the other hand, the MR2 can gun out of the corner a tad bit faster. The S2000 is more predictable. The MR2 is a bit too much to handle at the limit.

Devil, welcome to the club! Congrats, and enjoy. Take it easy until you fully get the hang of driving the S.

Also, check your oil at every fillup.
