My 2002 AP1
Well after wanting an s2000 for 4 years now and lurking the s2ki forums the whole time, I finally quit buying other project cars and pulled the trigger on one. I first bought an Integra, then a civic, and then a 240. Modified them all but none of them satisfied me because the whole time I wanted an s2000, haha. So last Thursday I flew out of my hometown, Fargo, ND, down to Phoenix to purchase a 2002 NFR AP1 from a member here on s2ki. Bought it late Thursday afternoon with almost 39,000 miles and started to head back to Fargo that night. The drive back was a blast, but very long as it took us almost 27 hours, haha. We arrived back in Fargo on Saturday.
I love this car to death and I am finally satisfied with the car that I own. Now let the modding begin!
Just leaving Phoenix...

Better tape her up for the long trip home...

Just pulled into my garage...

Did a little photoshoot later that night...

I figured since it was a 1,800 mile trip that I shoud tape up the front end and part of the doors so I can avoid as many rock chips as possible haha the car already has a few good chips I don't want anymore

1) Make sure to check the engine oil every week, as the s2000 engine tends to burn oil. I don't want another s2000 owner to report that they blew their rod bearings because of engine oil starvation. Mobil 1 or Royal purple are amongst the most popular.
2) Make sure to take care of the soft top and the leather. Use leather care and make sure check for holes at the soft top.
3) Wave and say hi to other s2000 owners
Enjoy.
thanks for the advice howardtan...I am very anal about my car and check the oil after everytime I drive it and check all the fluids frequently
GT NFR-the tape was a life saver...I almost forgot to do it to because I was so excited I finally got the car haha
