So i just came back from a dealership and i bought a Gray S2k. Its mostly stock except for a mugen real spoiler and a headunit but im so happy. its year 2000 which is the only negative part but i cant beleive i finally got one. I wanna share my joy and happiness with all you guys. Ill post some pics tomorow after a wash and wax and a nice engine bay detailing. IM not gonna be able to sleep tonight... What if i sleep in my s2k?

might not be very comfortable sleeping in the s2k since the seats dot lean back very far. Glad to hear you are liking the car man. Have fun with it, but be careful while getting used to how it drives. Oh and make sure you start saving up for replacement rear tires since they can get kind of expensive and you may end up needing some new ones eventually. Oh and welcome.

Congrats on your S2000!! I remember when I picked up my S2000, I couldn't sleep for days either. However, trying to sleep in the car may have worked, I wish I would have tried that .

 

Thanks guys. and let me tell you that last night sucked like a bitch. I couldnt sleep till 530 in the morning cuz the car was on my mind the whole time. then when i finally caught some sleep, my mom accidently wakes me up at 9. so i guess its not that bad but i was going crazy last night.


Right now, its time to make some breakfast and take this baby for a spin. Oh man oh man. Im pumped

I would not be able to sleep if I just got an awsome s2k but hey whos says you can't just drive it all night

 

ya i can drive it all night but where is there to go. lol. but ya, im loving this car. its so much fun and its easy to shift compared to the 350z. Clutch is butter and red leather seats pull in chicks and rwd gives me sugar powered donuts. I love it. I will never trade it in.

quick question

since it redlines at 9, im kinda confused at what to shift at when daily driving. So far, ive been shifting at 3.5-4 k rpm.

that sounds about right. there is a shift point where you feel the engine doesn't bog down or jerk. its just smooth and thats around where it should be.
