Default My first Honda!

Hello- New guy here from Houston, TX area . Just bought a 04' Sebring silver/black S2000- all stock, 44k miles...have been visiting this forum for some time now trying to figure out if this was the car for me. I have always been into motorcycles my whole life and never really even had a car that was much fun to drive until this year. Bought a 09 G37S for the wife this year, but needed something I could have fun in, so here we go.
I've had my S2k for a few days now. Overall I'm really enjoying it. Although my list of questions is starting to get longer....there always seems to be things you start to find after the purchase that you didn't notice when you test drove it or did the initial inspection- nothing too major I hope.... Will be searching for answers and posting more soon
Looking forward to being a part of the S2K community!

Make sure you do your basic maintenance stuff and you should be fine.

It looks like your shift boot has rolled in on itself a little. If you pull the center console, you can unroll it a bit.

Thanks for the tip...never really noticed till you said something....thanks.
Used a zip tie on the inside of the boot to hold it in place. It wont fall down any time soon.

I went ahead and pulled the shifter and re-greased while I had it open...less notchy, especially going into reverse.

Not sure if you can tell in the pic, but there is a small blue LED in between the roof lever and hazard button...wonder what that was?? Its just a lens in there now. Nothing was hooked up to the back side.

Previous owner could have had an alarm on it. My daily's alarm has a blue LED that flashes whenever it's armed. They probably uninstalled the alarm and just left the LED there instead of leaving a hole or replacing the whole console.
