Default My first S2000 and its a GT

Hi everyone,

After about a year looking at them I have just bought my first S2000.

Its a 2005 registered Berlinetta Black with a Red/Black interior.

I have built and owned Kit Cars for most of my life and wanted something that would perform as well but was a little more civilised too. (Well I am 58 now and crawling around under Kit Cars no longer appeals).

Yes its a GT although after having it a week now I can understand those of you who say "Why bother". The hardtop was taken off on day one and I suspect it will only go back on when I sell it, however, i don't ever intend to, sell it that is.

Unfortunately it won't fit in my very narrow garage and has to live on the driveway.

So far I love it to bits.

This forum is new to me and so far I have not figured out how to attach an image. When I do you will see my beauty.

Welcome Packman. Hard tops are nice, but I love having the top down too much to justify getting one. Congrats on the car man.

Congrats on the purchase. One of my reason on purchasing the car was for the convertible feel. Having a hardtop beats the whole purpose of buying a convertible, IMO. Enjoy.

With a little more research, you would know there is a GT. Only available in UK as well as all the other good models they get for other cars that we dont get.
