Default My new 07 got keyed

Hey guys i just purchased a clean 2007 formula red a few days ago and drove about 150 miles so far and love the car
but as i was leaving my house this morning i saw a deep long scratch on the drivers side door
words cant describe how angry i am! Why must people do such retarded things!

Anyways what are my options to fixing this? The scratch is well passed the clear coat and paint (the scratch appears black). One of the reasons i got this car was because how clean the paint and finish was, the car was MINT.

sorry to hear that definitely hurts. Maybe get a quote from the body shop to see how much it is or see if anyone is selling red doors?

Join the club, my s2k been keyed two times in the 7years of owership, no other way to make it look decent, gotta get repaint. Get insurance to cover it, I hope you have a low deductible, if you don't make sure to upgrade to 0 deductible. Theres alot of haters out there, its gonna happen.

Good luck

A good body shop can respray that section and buff it out to make it look flawless like it never existed, but just as the other guys said it all depends on if you want to get your insurance involved.

Or you can get OEM touch up paint then buff it a bit with wax and see if that will work. Good luck man, im sorry to hear some jerk off keyed your car i hate people that do stuff like that.

You can touch it up and buff but it will still be there. Your best bet is to have the door painted and they will also blend the fender and quarter so you won't even notice!
