Default Need to find an S2000 for under 14k

After dreaming of the car since I've been 9 the time has finally come. I'm looking to find an S2000 in either Red, Black, or Yellow for under 14,000.

The lower the price the better chance i have of getting it.

Where would one go to find some good deals on them? I've checked the forsale forum of this website and autotrader.com

Again, I'm not sure exactly how much I'll have, so the lower the price the better.

=( Any help would be greatly appreciated!

An S2k for under 14k is going to have a lot of miles on it. Just gotta be a bit more patient and keep saving up. What are you doing to get the money? You said "I'm not sure exactly how much I'll have".

Selling my car, and fourwheeler ( I don't drive it anymore). And my mother is giving me some. I'm trying to get a job however the only place around here that will hire 17 year olds is fast food.

If you buy a S2000 for under 14k, you can bet that it's in bad shape with really high mileage.. Just save up more money and get a nice used AP1 for a few thousand more.

and at 17, insurance is going to be crazy. I'm 19 and my actual 3 year limit is in a few months. I might get an S2k early but if I do, the insurance for it for me (in n.c., no tickets, no wrecks) is like 186 a month. Although after that 3 year limit is over, it will drop significantly.

Thats actually the good thing in my case. At the moment my insurance is 900 dollars every 6 months with my current car.

Getting the S2000 drops it to 810 dollars every 6 months!

What I'm asking is if there are any places to find good prices on them.

Like Blitz pointed out, you better be seated when you get that insurance quote. I would keep saving and buy a more current MY. Good luck with the hunt.

That's really expensive....What do you currently drive? I pay 50 a month for my 95' maxima and I havent hit the 3 month mark yet. I might actually miss the ol' White Knight when I get an S2k here in a month or so.

I think you should be more worried about your insurance than the price of your S2k, cause I definately am.
