Default Need some advise...please help !

Hi everyone !

I am new to the S2000 and have never owned one but have always appreciated it's engineering and stunning looks from afar. I now feel it's the right time to have a better look at one and if possible get some advise about what to look for when going to view one etc from the people in the know ! I know that they have a rep for being skittish (pre VSA anyway) but i am interested to know more...any help and advise would be much appreciated.

I am a noob so please be gentle !!!

Welcome.... also research ap1vs ap2 and that will tell you tons and make you more informed on if you want the more raw ap1 or the more girly ap2. haha i'm biased and kidding really(or am i?).

Unlike others, I appreciate both AP1 & AP2. My advise to you would be to buy the newest model you can afford.(Doesn't hurt to have a warranty) If you're not used to driving a performance RWD car, I would definitely recommend the '06-'09 AP2. VSA is nice to have if you're stuck in a down pour. If I was using the car for street/track use, I would definitely buy the AP1 or the CR. I've driven both (AP1 and my CR with VSA off) & I can't tell the difference. Both cars are just pure joy to drive. Good luck in your search.

Thanks seoulbro !

With all the rain we get in the UK i think i would be better off getting an S with VSA, i am also wanting to do some sort of advanced driving course so i can understand and control the car.
Do you guys take yours on the track much ?
