Default Need some good Advice on Hard Tops

I need to know if this is a good deal or if I should buy one from the HardTop Guy.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-OEM-S...012807493QQrdZ1

I am going to purchase one, I just want one that is painted and has all the hardware as I have no access to a paint booth.

Thanks

I think Hardtop Guy's also comes with the hardware and is $200 cheaper. Check with him, but I'd buy from a known guy with a good rep over anyone on eBay for something like this.

HTs will fit all years, but if you have Spa, then no one has a new HT for you, since Rio is the new yellow. Probably another reason to get a black HT, or the cheapest used HT in the FS threads here and have it painted to match your car.

Thanks for the insight. I would love to purchase one on the forums but everyone is scared to ship them or something.

Maybe one day people will understand what "freight" is and loosen up a little.

If you're in Florida, you don't really want a HT anyway. Defeats the purpose of owning a convertible.

I think you should shop around, but Hardtopguy is well-respected around here and knows his stuff.

Good point on the spa yellow... You probably will have to go to the used market.

It does look good, but in sunny Fla, you'll find yourself not using I think. If you really want to drop $3k on your S, get 4.57 gears installed. Best bang for your buck - costs around $1k.
