New 02 s2000 owner Cleveland Oh
Just picked up a s2k right at the beginning of October and now that winters over I'm finally gonna have a chance to start driving it! Ive been lurking these forums all winter and finally decided to join.. Picked up a 2002 berlina black all stock with 34,000 miles on it. I've done a few simple mods over winter such as a test pipe and picked up a used skunk2 exhaust. Next thing I'm doing is getting a full detail done. I'm coming from a 2006 honda civic si that i "stanced out" but i refuse to do that with the s2000 it drives to great to ruin all functionally of the car

Thanks! Can't wait to get my new wheels on. I found some bbs LM for a good price I have been slowing refinishing. 17x8 +45 and 17x9 +42. You guys have suggestions for transmission and differential fliud? Gonna change all my fluids this week or next weekend. Luckily my roommates family owns a shop and I have access to a lift.
What are those funny green things on the trees? Haven't seen them on the North Coast since October! Not in 44147 for sure.
There's a good section on "fluids" in the maintenance section. Honda MTF for the transmission. It's different from the FWD stuff. I put LE-1605 in my differential last August. Ya need 2 quarts of MFT and 1 quart of LE-1605. Honda states to use new crush washers. Local dealer may just give them to you but they're a buck at most.
Brake and radiator fluids get changed every 3 years (or so) regardless of mileage. Not sure when yours was last done.
