Yea, It is alot.. I meant to say "I have not had credit long enough" up there.

Also - my air box was really dirty with shit inside of it so i cleaned, and while taking off the air filter I found some hoses that were INSIDE the AIR FILTER, I have attached a pic... anyone know what these are? Only thing I can think of is if someone an after market on there, and just was hiding these inside the filter.
WOW! yeah those do look like hoses from a aftermarket intake.

About your credit... you should of built your credit up before you got purchase like this. You would of been paying way less. I am thinking 300 range. priorities > wants

If you look closely around the air cleaner housing you should see a hose just like the one pictured with the plastic valve. This is part of the air pump / air injection system used while the car is warming up to speed the cat getting up to temp quickly and thereby helping to reduce exhaust emissions. Very odd! If the system is bypassed the check engine light should be on. You are probably OK if there is no CEL, But I would be curious and check it out to the diagrams.

You didn't mention whether or not you owed on the previous car. If not, you need to check the numbers with the dealer since your monthly payment should be under $400 for a 6 year term with 12% interest and a financed amount of $19350.

If you did owe, then disregard me completely. Just want to make sure they didn't pull one on you.

I did not owe anything on the previous car - and my total for my car came to be around 22900.00 - I am going to apply at a diff bank for refinancing.

sola77 - Thanks for that info. I am headed to the dealer today to get it checked out. they obliviously did not even look at the air filter because it was wayyy to dirty and had those helicopter things inside of there... thats a big no no.

TYM2FLY - I know I wish it was blue my last car was blue. and my Insurance would be cheaper

NNY S2k - will do... this car actually came from NY! the front bumper is all scratched up... gotta have it repainted :\

damn!! I financed 23K last year when i bought my02 and i got 4.9% financing. I put $0 down and my payments were $432 a month. I paid it off tho.

If your happy with the car and the payment then who cares how much you pay. refinance it. you'll prolly have to wait a year to build credit tho

That is a pretty big myth.......none of my insurance companies have ever inquired about the color of the car.

Congrats - I like you color. I bought an 05 about a year ago for 25K the dealer was asking 27,500 which was what the NADA showed as retail. The car had 3,900 miles on it and had never been driven in the rain.

You took almost the identical pic of the engine bay as I did.
