I wanted to buy this vehicle as soon as I saw it back in "00. Just before I "pulled the trigger", I came down with a life threating illness. I have bounced back and now I am doing fine. I purchased my "S" back in April '05. I've been cruising the boards since I bought the car... just wanted to Thank YOU (and billman250, RR, Slows2k, xviper & everyone else with constructive comments) for all the knowledge you have shared with us newbiez! The "S" is in hibernation now (I live in Michigan), but I can't wait to get it out come spring! Wishing you good health and a happy new year!

You're most welcome, tym2fly... Yours is a wonderful story, and a great start to the new year. I'm very glad you're feeling well.

Hey, listen, you might want to consider driving your car through the winter. Life is short, as you well know! xviper has posted a bunch of threads on car car, etc... I went three winters keeping Neb garaged, and this year, I've chosen to keep the car on the road. I don't take it out in crappy weather, but I do enjoy the good days! I'm not suffering withdrawal like I have in previous years.

My problem is that I haven't truly adopted the "it's just a car" mentality. I'll admit, honestly, I do get nervous about sand pitting the windshield/paint, and stuff like that. Still, it feels great to be out there in the S. What a fabulous car!
