Default new 06 s2k.. how much did you pay?

I was just wondering what some of the 06 s2k owners paid for their car. My dealership had one but they said that the wouldn't take any less than $34,xxx. I know that they are full of sh#t. They also told me they can't get me one in silverstone, they have a yellow one and they say that it is the only one they could get. Where is a good place to buy one and how much can I expect to pay?

$34,XXX is pretty much MSRP. I've never heard of a dealer that wouldnt negotiate that price down. Also, silverstones are EVERYWHERE! I dont know how they can't get a hold of one. Maybe they cant trade that Rio because no other dealer in the area wants it.

A lot of people have been paying around $31k from what I've seen.

I just went through this. Price seems somewhat geographical. Where I live the best price I could find was 31k. If I were willing to drive 50mi to cross a state line, the price dropped by $500. If you live within a reasonable distance of another state or two, check it out for your self.

I might get one soon too. YAY.

Haha my parents shut me out, but today we had a serious talk... i think there's one more serious talk in my way to convincing them.

They're not paying for it, but I live under their roof so their word is final...

31.5 to 32k before ttt is the normal real selling price with no trade. If you are trading a car they will be glad to make it look like you are getting a better deal.

Thats in Va at least. It's possible in L.A. that they are getting them right at cost without destination charge at all? Sounds unlikely.

Youre in springfield VA?

34k even for mine. Had a Suzuka Blue they were pushing off for less but I wanted Berlina. Dealer was pretty good though, went all the way to Maryland to pick it up. Apparently certain colors fetch a premium.... Maybe resale value has a lot to do with it I don't know but the dealer wasn't coming down from that. It's always best to shop around....
