Default New 2006 GPW

WWWWWWWOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Came home with my 2006 GPW yesterday from the dealer at around 8:30 PM. Coming home from the dealer, I had to drive on the highway, so I was a little nervous about driving with the top down, considering I've never driven a convertible before, so I drove with the top up. But when I got home to local roads, top came down, and stayed down all night, even though the temperature came down dramatically. All I did was turn on the heat and drove all night. Left my house at like 9:00 PM, and I didn't come home until 3:30 AM. I put 100 miles on the car in that time frame... I'M IN LOVE!!!! Ended up driving away with the car for invoice price of $31190.00.

The drive is amazing. It's a perfect fit for my body type. If anyone is in doubts... don't be because the drive is outstanding.

I'm happy to finally discover for myself what all of you guys go crazy for driving this car...

Andre

Yeah man... All local driving too. Average of like 30 mph the whole time. Took up more than a 1/4 tank of gas, but it's all in good fun... lol. I was so excited all I wanted to do was drive. I thought about driving only so bad, that I didn't even tune the radio until 4 hours after getting the car home... lol. It really is a lot of fun. AMAZING!!!!

Congrats. I'm a few weeks behind you, i hope, in getting an 2006 S2k.
I'm still doing my shopping homework.
can you answer how much the "out the door" price was on the car?
did you use honda financing?
I'm also in North Jersey, hope to see you on the road top down soon!

Trust me... you want to do your homework. And when you go to a different dealer... make sure you tell them how much the dealer before that offered you cause they will match or go lower... especially here in Jersey cause not that many sell and they want to get rid of them.

I got the car for invoice, which was $31190.00. MSRP I think is $34600.00
Payments are $356 and change per month with a 5.69% APR through Honda.
I also put $15000 down, so that helped a lot with the lower monthly payments.

Just trust me... go to at least 3 dealers. And if they offer more than the previous offer... don't hesitate to get up and walk out right away because like that they will know you're serious and they'll do anything to keep you in the door. I did it and it worked out great for me.

Good Luck,
Andre
