I don't know where you are located but NYC/NJ is a hotspot for theft. These cars are extremely easy to break into and drive away.

If you are looking to get some seat time with it like you said you plan on doing, they do autocross at Giants stadium parking lot (which has a lot of s2k's running)

As others have said if you are street parking this, please take proper precautions especially in this area (theft as well as getting bumped and hit on street. Have seen way too many cars get backed into parallel parking, side swiped, or hit with bags/bikes when people walk around them.

 

It's on the street for now but my parents have an extra spot in their garage I can use. It's a mess right now so I have to clean it out. Going to get that done asap because I hate having it out there.
