New AP1 Owner
Hey guys (and girls!)
My name is Stephen, and I am now a proud owner of a 2002 S2000! I bought it used with 130,000 miles (which is a lot), but I snagged it up for $7500! Amazing.
I live in the Detroit-metro region and am a full-time engineer.
My daily driver is a Genesis Coupe (which has proven to be a terrible track car), and I am still on the edge on whether or not I want to make the S2000 a dual-duty vehicle or a full-out track car. I race mostly at Gingerman and Grattan and hope to see many of you there soon!
Thanks!

Welcome and congrats on the S. looks great.
just curious, why did you choose the Genesis coupe as a track car? it's more of a GT car IMO...
maybe try the S2000 on the track? i think it'll do better than the Genesis coupe

After driving both cars for awhile, I quickly realized I wanted to keep the Gen. Coupe for the reason you stated -- it's an excellent GT
Welcome!
I recently moved to the greater Detroit area and I barely ever see any other s2000's out on the streets. It's nice to see that you are into tracking your cars. I mainly do autocross, but I hope to branch out and start doing track days after I get another car to daily drive.
We should definitely get together sometime; I moved here from North Carolina where the s2000 scene is very strong, so it would be nice to finally hang out with other s2000 peoples up here.
