Default New AP2 owner

Hey everyone,
Recently picked up a 2005 s2k with 109k on it. With the help of a friend of mine we went over the car pretty well and found a few common issues (leaking rear diff, poor compression, etc) so I managed to pick it up for a decent price.

After turning my mechanic loose on it to get the major issues resolved I spent a couple days detailed it in my garage.

Here she is in a her glory!

When did these become common issues?

With all due respect, age and miles don't really matter if the previous owner(s) took care of the car. Congratulations on the car!

the paint does look good in the picts.....they will last a long time if not screwed around with "improvements". I've enjoyed mine since purchased last November...changed exhaust, and to Ohlins. and a flash tune, replaced original tires w/new Confidential Extremes...clear film to protect the paint..it's the way I want it now, nothing crazy as it's a darn good driving machine.....just a nice car to drive and so well mannered..and controls are right where they should be..

What kind of machinist are you and what S2K parts are you going to get in trouble making at work?
