Default New female owner from the UK

DEEZ NUTS

Just kidding, I'm a bloke.

I've recently bought my S2000 so joined the board a couple of weeks ago. I've had plenty of Hondas before, but never an S2k. I have to say straight away I knew there was something special with this car, it drives like nothing else I have driven before. It was going to be between this, and a BMW M3, and I'm sure I made the right choice. I live in England, Yorkshire for those who are also from the UK! Anyone else from up t'north?

This is my S2;

I bought it stock, other than some horrible wheels which I changed right away (we wont talk about them!)

Anyway I've been through a few cars recently but hope to keep this for a while. I can't remember the last time I owned a car with an as active community which is great, I kind of hate how most car groups are on Facebook now!

Before I wrap this up, does anyone know why I can't view peoples profiles? I wanted to buy something last week but couldn't access the guy's profile and now it has sold.

Cheers
Dan

What did the horrible wheels look like? Just curious. Here's a shot of the wheels I couldn't wait to get off my car. Black wheels have gotta be a generational thing! I (personally) prefer the 17" OEM wheels to aftermarket.

I quite like those wheels Chuck!

I think I can beat them for bad wheels though, mine came on 18" Mazda RX8 wheels with budget tyres.

Black wheels look like the wheel covers fell off a hoopty car. To me. I suppose taste has a lot to do with what wheels folks like and there's no accounting for taste. I've heard that some guys drink Lite beer or Bud even when they have a choice and some don't like what we 'Mericans call "Scotch." No accounting for taste. Yeah, I think the Mazda wheels at least look better than my former black wheels. I'm happy some guys like black wheels as I had no trouble unloading selling mine. Good Enkei wheels, just the wrong color.

I would have been half tempted to get them redone silver, silver RPF1 on a grey S2k IMO is perfect!

Hey Mike, that's a great post!

I've already ordered all new oils and plugs, filters, etc. Something I do when buying any car I intend to keep for a bit! I'll check the rest now.
