Hey everyone, name's Victor. I've been readin this forum for quite a while now and just registered today. Loved the s2000 for many years, but considering that I am one low budget 20 year old....don't know when I'll finally be able to get one.

I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada and currently own a 1987 Mazda Rx-7.

I've been searching around for cheap s2000's, seems like the best way for me to go is to import one from the States.

Is that even possible? Do s2k's from US qualify to be imported into Canada? It'd be cool if anyone can give me some details about this. Thanks!

Welcome aboard!! I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you can import a US car into Canada. I know we have Canadian cars here, but our standards are less.

dont quote me on this, but unless i understand wrong, it is kind of expensive to import a car from the us to canada. Also if I am understanding correctly you will end up paying as much or more to import one than just finding one in canada. I read a thread a while ago and it was saying that. I could have totally misunderstood though. I would definatly check on that before you decide to import one and see what option will be cheeper. Good luck man.
