Welcome Amy!!
Only thing you will find with the s2k is that the only engine mod that gives big gains is boost. So you are kinda in the same boat as with the Nisimo.
There are suspension mods and body kits if that interests you more than hp.
Post up in the Florida Forum to say hello too. I'm sure many of the Tampa s2k crew have seen your car at HIN or Cars & Coffee.

Thanks for the advise.... I pretty much wanna turbo the car... I just need to know which motor is better to boost. I also would like to do the whole body kit thing and suspension..... But I have to find the car first.... I looked at an 05 the other day but the payments were still going to be too high for what I am looking at spending....

Honestly...either the F20 or F22 boost well. Always buy the newest lowest mileage car you can afford. But since you're looking to boost, you can save a good bit of money on an AP1...I'd probably go with an '03 to make sure it has the upgraded oil banjo bolts. Taller gearing in the AP1 also helps staying in boost longer.
But there are some really nice changes in the AP2. Many folks like the AP2 look better and the different interior. I'd still get the AP1 tranny if I were going to boost just to get the longer gears...someone would certainly trade an AP2 tranny for an AP1 and probably give you a couple hundred $. The AP2 will come with 17" rims...and you'll definitely want at least 17s...the AP1 OEM wheels are 16" and should be swapped to let you buy some wider stickier rear tires.
