Hey guys, I'm new and I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Daniel and I live in Maryland. After much thought I've decided to purchase an s2k. ( Problem is... they're a little hard to find. ) What are common problems I should look for, what price range should I be in? I know very little about Hondas but unfortunately a ton about Volkswagens so it should be a smooth-ish transition. Currently I have an MKIV Jetta 1.8t that I'm looking to get rid of and put towards the purchase of an s2k.

There may be a lot more around for sale than you realize, if you are willing to travel a hundred miles or so. Check out AutoTrader.com. I traveled from Maine to Penn. to purchase mine. Found a nice 2005 with 8500 miles on it. There was another one with similar miles just South of where I made the purchase. That was going to be the backup. Good Luck and welcome.
