New girl
My wife's car was totaled a couple years ago, so she was forced to drive one of my two cars...both of which were stick. Spent 2 hours on a Friday teaching her how to drive a manual car. Had her drive it on the road on Saturday/Sunday. She was driving it to work by herself on Monday.
Youd be suprised just how much everyone knows manual in Europe. I used to work in the airport and I once had a guy ask me for some help with the car they just rented. They were Eastern European I think. I go to the car and he tells me that out of him, and everyone who he was with (which was about 4 people and they were all 25+), no one had ever driven an Auto. All he wanted to know was what the PRNDL1 meant, and how to work it. Needless to say, I thought he was shitting me.
