Hey all. 24 year old guy from houston here. I've been wanting eyeing S2K's since my parents bought me my first new car. a 2000 civic ex white, showroom model we got which has all the goodies, tint, pinstripe, oem high spoiler, anything they could put on o make it flashy. shes automatic but has been a hell of a fun second car. only thing she has is Enkei rims, AEM Cai, a nice system and a Garmin GPS. ill post pics once i get her washed. im gonna miss that car, but to get to the S2K. I recently (meaning suffering the last end of withdrawls) quit smoking. may be easy to some but for me its been sucky. Since my folks bought me the civic (which i have paid them off for) my dad has kind of gotten bumped up a few notches at exxon where he's a chem engineer. so last night they called me and asked if i was still interested in the S2k. Hell. ____in' yes i am. my first car was an 86 lincoln towncar and a 98 chevy s10 four banger! great comparison for rwd experience right? a land yacht and a.. crappy lil truck. i have driven the S on two occasions tho. only making me fall more in love. so. the deal is if im off cigs for 5 months (my life! ) they buy me the car and i trade in my civic on her. now for any warnings about the car i may get. ive read this site thoroughly and can appreciate wisdom through experience. a new car is like a new girlfriend. a SERIOUS one. you need to know what she likes. what she doesn't like. and what your 'limits' are as well as hers. So for awhile im gonna be driving grandma style and finding something safe to test her on in houston. so if anyone knows of any autoxing let me know. i go for a test drive in about a month when i find a dealer with an '04. ill keep ya'll posted! till then im gonna be enjoying my last months with my civic
