Default New guy

Hi guys

Joined the forum today after i test drove the 06 S2000 today and boy it was just awesome , i had driven my brothers 02 S2000 last year and this one felt quieter.

I have a 05 G35 sedan 6mt and not very impressed with the car and was thinking about trading it for the S2000 , dealer offered me 1000 over invoice but the bigger problem is taking a big loss on my G which i am not sure whether its wise to do that.

I live in Vegas, can anyone let me know a good Honda dealer. BTW i had got the offer from Dessert Honda at Sahara.

What do u guys think -- is it wise to trade in my 9mth old G and take a loss

My brother is an active member here and he suggested me to take ur advice

Thanks

Maybe you should try and sell it yourself.

Sorry you're so disillusioned with your G35 so quickly, but there's really no comparison between these two cars. I could certainly understand being smitten with the S after driving it. Many of us owners, of course, feel the same way.

I don't know your situation, but if you don't need the sedan, I see no reason why you can't use the S year-round in Vegas as your only car. That's the good news.

The bad news is that whether you sell Infinity yourself or trade it, you're going to take it on the chin because you're in that early period of a car's life where it loses so much of its original value very quickly. That's unfortunate. You might want to just poke around ebaymotors to see what folks are trying to sell almost-new G35s for to see if it's anywhere in the ballpark that the dealer's offering.

Good luck!

It all comes down to how badly you want to get an s2k.

Ha ha .. boss_2k is my brother. I had recommended he buy a S2K earlier, but he went with the G35 anyways and now wants a S. I agree the 02 is louder, but it is more raw and feels more connected to the driver, in my humble opinion. Not looking for a pre 04 - 04+ fight, guys!

I would have suggested a pre 04 to him, but coming from a G35, I think a
04+ will suit him better.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

To me, it sounds like the decision is already made.

Good luck, guys!
