First thing to know about the S2000 is they're not all alike. Honda tweaked the engineering every two years so each even-model year had the most changes; some like 2004 were major and included the body/wheels and engine/drive train. Others not so much. Very early cars can be challenging to drive (or more rewarding, take your choice)
. 2006 and later have a tunable ECU which can provide significantly improved midrange power with minimal effort.
