Hey what's up everybody, new to the forums and bought an 06 S2k about 2 months ago and loving it. Done a few things to it so far and done a good amount of maintenance with more to come. I'll probably get a lot of hate for not keeping it stock, but I will be modding it (I'll keep the stock parts if I can though, I don't have much room). I've got some questions I couldn't find anything on, but for some reason I can't verify my account to post. See below.

For some reason I can't verify my email account so I can't make posts anywhere else or view my own profile even. Tried the suggestions listed in the Site FAQ such as trying to resend it, checked spam etc, tried emailing the pingto email but google sent one back saying the email doesn't exist.


If you know a solution or can help me out, please reply or send me a message!

Your posts here are getting thru just fine. Not sure who "Ping" might be or why you'd email them.

Thank you Chuck. I am still unable to view my own profile and post in certain forums, I was able to post in modifications and here though. Below is the error I get otherwise when trying to.


Also, the ping email is the one linked in the site info FAQ in order to verify your account if you didn't get an email, which I didn't. See below picture for the info.

I suspect your account has not yet been activated.-- you just joined yesterday. You show as a "registered user" which will restrict some activity or access for a couple of weeks.

I tried emailing "ping" and it comes back as non-existent -- no surprise. But I can ping the site as, I'm sure can you.

No need to "ping" this website. All that does is confirm is exists and you being here sending and receiving messages shows you can connect to it.

Ping has to be done from the Command Prompt in Windows.

Give it a couple of days.

I know it has not been activated, that is what I was trying to do in the first place, leading to me sending the email to the one linked by s2ki.com which did not work. I am unable to activate my account. I also know what pinging a website is and its function, that's not what I am referring to. I am referring to the email linked by s2ki.com in order to activate your account manually, you send an email to the one in the image below, and it is supposed to respond "pong" so you know it worked, as in ping pong.


I need an administrators assistance at this time.
