New here
Hey guys great site going on here. Ive proudly owned an s2k for about 6 months. its an 02 spa yellow. Im from ohio so unfortunatly shes been in the garage since about october
. Shes completely stock for now but hopefully not forever.
Got a question about rims dont know if this is the place to ask it but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction if its not. im lookin at getting a set of konig illusion rims. theyre 17x7 5x114.3 with a 40 offset. would there be any problem with fitment of these rims? should they bolt right up? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome. "Will this wheel fit" questions are very common around here, as the S2000 has, um, unique characteristics. Below is a great link that should answer most of your questions:

But in short, those wheels aren't ideal, for two reasons. First, it doesn't appear that the wheels are staggered (ie front is narrower than rear). There are people that run non-staggered but its probably not the best situation, especially with such a narrow rear. Second, +40 is a really aggressive offset. Again, people around here run that but its not ideal. Bottom line, unless you are absolutely in love with those wheels and are willing to live with comprimise, I'd keep looking.
Where in OH are you? Be sure to drop by the regional OH forum and introduce yourself. Its a little sleepy right now but once the weather breaks, things will liven up.
