Welcome!

Take care on the drive home. The s2k is not forgiving to new s2k drivers...especially in cold weather with tire rubber that's only sticky when warm.

Also, don't put the top down in sub 55deg weather or you risk cracking the plastic rear window. Same with using a scraper or tapping on the top to break ice/frost.

Have fun on the way back...should be a nice adventure!!

Congrats! In addition to the things above, make sure you know how where the lever is to open the gas door. I would have been SOL if I hadn't found the owners manual (which btw was in the secret compartment).

Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan. I bought my S just last January. Have a fun drive back with the car (how can you not!) and be careful. I'm sure you already know that performance tires turn to hockey pucks below 45F...
I drive mine year round. I put winter tires on the EOM wheels, got some SSRs for the summer tires.
There are some S owners here in MN who have started getting together from time to time, you should join us!
