Ok issues with the car, surging at idle, heater working intermittently (think I fixed that with more coolant) and are these engines just overall loud??? I feel as though the engine it's self is just loud as hell.

Coming from a sr20 engine, you're saying the f20 is loud? Lol. What are your engine mods?

id say you just need a valve adjustment. I need one too just been putting it off a while
