New with a JDM S2K
Hello everyone!
Recently received my S2000 about 2 weeks ago and have been loving it since! Last year I started going to the track with my Subaru WRX doing autocross and lapping days. It was a lot of fun but by summers end I decided that I should look into getting another car that I could take to the track instead of beating on my daily driver. I ended falling in love with the S2000 seeing it out on track and from the time I spent watching youtube videos about the car. Local prices were rather high for my budget and what you get in return so I decided I would look at importing one from Japan. It took 6 months to find one I liked and once we won the bid it took a additional 2 and a half months to receive it. The long wait was worth it, it ended up being way cheaper to import one to my door then getting one locally. And for it being a 18 year old car, I'd have to say it looks pretty darn good! From Alberta Canada.
Plan for the car is forced induction eventually. The things I need to get sorted first are
Shift knob that won't burn your hand from heat, or one in general, missing a shift knob at the moment as it was stolen during shipping.
Find a JDM license plate for the front to fill the holder, struggling to find where to get one
