Hello everyone . I am the proud owner of a new to me 2002 S2K. Let me tell you, it was love at first sight/drive. I never would have thought a 4banger could be such a thrill to be sitting behind. This is my first sports car, (my wife says its a mid-life crisis)and I just love it. The feel of the VTEC when it engages is just awesome. I have to admit, sometimes I drive it like I stole it....but how can you resist? It is my DD, and it has turned my 10 minute drive home from work into a 30 minute ride . LOL I can see why you love these cars, I tell everyone that the only thing I can compare driving this car to is, Running my 2000 Harley 1200 custom Sportster down the interstate, trien to twist the throttle off the handle bars. lol
Some folks may get aggravated with me, but I'm honest and dont pretend to know more than I do ......I AM NOT A MECHANIC...I pay one very good money to work on my stuff. lol But when I come across problems that are minor that I can do myself, I like to ask questions. You see, this little beast has done something that no other has done to me....I just cant get enough of it, and I am actually interested in learning all I can about it.
I've had her for about 2 months now and I've learned it is not your typical car...lol. and has safety features I'm not accustomed to, and I'm sure the dealership is Glad I've found these forums to inquire about things that happen, instead of bugging them thinking something is wrong with my car. lol

Thanks for the welcome guys. i dont know a lot about these cars, but I've been reading a lot...This car is a special breed,and I love it. Great condition and PERFECT running order. Gave 10 grand with 71000 milles, but she drivet tight and runs like is was pampered. had ALL the fluids changed and everything was like new. Could eat from under the hood..not a spot of oil' tranny fluid or anything else leaking for that matter. Excellent find, IMO.

As far as pix...as soon as i figure out how 2 post em....lol

 

I'm gald you're so happy with the car. Even though I don't use my car as a DD, I seem to take the longest route to where ever I need to go. It's been a pure pleaure to drive. Your enthusiasm for the S2K makes me want to go out for a drive... never mind, it's pouring outside.
