Hi everyone. I picked up my S2K at start of year so thought I was overdue of introducing myself on here. I have a 2004 Royal Navy Blue so that is facelift. I'm still learning about these cars and I know there was lots of options and optional extras but mine has all black interior.

I've owned a few Honda's in the past but I've always fancied an S2000 and after I decided my time with FWD Honda's had to come to an end the S2K itch had to be scratched, having my Honda's the S2K is fairly familiar but it is very different to FWD Performance Honda's. I came from a DC5 and had a DC2 before too.

Since having it I've done various tidying up jobs, changed every fluid and filter and a few mods. I have decided I want to to a little more track focused but nothing too extreme or irreversible.

I've removed the Japspeed catback and replaced with an OEM system for now, still on the hunt for an aftermarket system that isn't too loud. It does have an aftermarket exhaust manifold and decat pipe which are possibly Japspeed.

I fitted a Personal Neo Grinta 330mm leather wheel using an NGK short hub and b-g racing quick release.

I deleted the A/C and secondary air pump to save some weight and clutter.

I refurbished the valve rocker with wrinkle paint which turned out okay for a DIY job and checked/adjusted the valve clearances too.

It has a front strut brace which looks quite generic but I'm lead to believe it could be Tanabe?

It has an AEM V2 cold air intake which I wrapped the top pipe in heat reflective tape to keep the heat from the radiator away and I changed the filter for a Funk Motorsport cotton pod filter.

A previous owner has fitted some speakers into the roll hoops which do sound quite good but I'm tempted to remove to save the weight as I noticed the door speakers are also upgraded. The headunit is a Sony piece which is fine but I would like to get the harness to allow the driver controls to work. On the topic of interior I also sourced some OEM floor mats and floor clips, not sure what mats they are as there seems to be many different options? I was told these were out of a JDM S2000.

The car has DC5 Brembo calipers which are nice but for them to work you are left with weird wheel offset choices. Currently running 20mm spacers all round but the fronts have a 7.5mm spacer behind the disc so I'm stuck with a 205 tyre up front until I can get new wheels or change the caliper setup or dial in some camber (yes all the alignment bolts are seized)

The car is on some coilovers I got from another owner, the springs are BC racing but the shocks look quite generic or could be Megan Racing. Would like to upgrade them at some point, I also have them set very high as I don't want to be too low.
I got some Accelera 651 tyres fitted this week as I have a track day booked next week and didn't want the day ruined by poor/old tyres but I also want to learn the car.

WIth the track day booked I though I'd better do some work on the brakes. I got some Halo Performance C hook discs all round. PBS Pro Race pads for the front and some cheap replacements for the rear and some Goodridge braided lines.

I found a Cusco 4 point cage for sale so got that fitted for some extra safety, can feel the extra rigidity too.

The shell is quite good condition being only on 53k but the paint isn't perfect and the subframe and suspension is all rather rusty. I treated the wishbones to some rust treatment and some paint to tidy them up for now.

Also I had the wheels refurbed and I shaved the Brembo calipers slightly as even with a 20mm spacer they were too close for comfort for taking it on track.

OEM tow hook in the rear for now until I find suitable one and I'm still looking for some facelift exhaust tips.
