picked up a 2008 s2000 white with red interior. Not sure if it was a good buy. paid 26,000 Canadian and the car has 50,000kms. the car is absolutely mint.

I do have a question for you guys, the motor is a blue top. What does that mean? I will post pics of the car later

Sounds like its a painter rocker cover

 

A photo of the engine bay would help. I have no idea why anyone would change the color of the valve or plug covers (but many seem to).

Under US$20K for a car with only 32K miles is a good price judging by prices I see. Hopefully the car hasn't been and won't driven in the winter. The value will plummet if salt gets to it.

That's a very rare car.

The painted valve cover may be a sign that your car was significantly modified and returned to stock for sale.

 

That seems to be a decent price for what most S2000's are going for in Canada - in April 2016, I purchased my 05 with 41k kms for 25k CAD, and it's mint. Never modified.
I just saw another 05 with 42k km for sale on AUTOTRADER, I don't know where in Canada, and they're asking 35k CAD, everything seems to be going up in value this year for this car... but I think that happens every year.
