Hi all,

My name's Sharif and I'm 21 from London.

I don't actually own an S2000 (yet!). Mainly had German cars before.

Story goes my cousin wanted a new car and we were debating between an E46 M3/ S2000/ Boxster S. For his budget the S2000 seemed the best option.

We made a 200 mile round trip yesterday to view one which was described as immaculate but when we viewed it, needed a new roof, new tyres, new seat, new brakes etc.

We passed on that and I managed to find this lovely example of a Moonrock Grey GT with a full red leather interior for a reasonable price.

My cousin was working, so I went down to Reading with my uncle and picked this up off a member on here.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Kevin, my cousin is really happy with the car and it will continue to be well looked after!

Heres a picture of when we got back:

And one with my Golf:

I really want to get an S2000 myself now but the insurance is very high, roughly £3k. Probably have to wait a few years!

Thanks for reading,

Sharif

Beautiful car and welcome! Yeah insurance is pretty damn high but isn't 3000 pounds roughly $5000 in the us?? That's a bit TOO high

Thanks guys! Yes, it roughly equates to $4650. It is very high but I can't stop looking at them! My Golf may be sold on Monday but think I will have to settle for a MX5 for now, and then get an S2000 in about 2 years time.

Hi again guys,

Since I sold the Golf, I've had a MK2.5 MX5, then an EP3 CTR Premier which sadly got stolen and then a MK1 Eunos.

Now I am 23, insurance is a lot more reasonable on an S2000.

I am looking for 2004 model, ideally grey with red leather but open to different combinations.

If anyone know's of any for sale in the UK as close to London as possible, please let me know. I did browse the classifieds but most cars for sale are from America.

My budget doesn't stretch to the top end facelifts. I have a max of £6.5k.

Cheers,

Sharif
