First post to the site. I have lurked here for a couple of years, and decided it was time to say hello. I have a stock '05 since new. I like to do my own wrenching, and look forward to meeting others with similar interests. From the start I will be looking for a couple of things: 1) I need a new top (probably the only thing that disappoints me about the car), 2) Why does Consumer Reports rate the '05 with a black dot for major engine? Anything preventive? I currently live in NC but soon will be moving to SC. I look forward to a few fall rides in the Blue Ridge mountains.
