New Member intro
Hello s2ki.
My name is Rick. Im 30 years old, a career firefighter/medic for 10 years now. I live in Virginia Beach, Va. Im obviously new to the board but am a veteran car enthusiast and have been through countless projects.
Mainly hondas from built turbo integras to swapped civics ranging from model years 1989-2000, I have been involved with wrx's and sti's a few times as well and enjoyed them
I also work part time at a locally famous paint shop here in virginia beach where I have done many restorations on bringing old hondas back to life, both my own and customer cars. Im pretty well reputed for my body and paint skills and my passion for a perfect paint job.I will be glad to give advice or opinions to anyone seeking them, if I find threads involving them. I have always had an eye for the s2000 and I am currently in the market for one. We have had an influx of really nice s2000's come through the shop in the past few years and when seeing a well done sleek S I can't help but think about owning one.
I was in the market for another 05 sti but seeing the prices of a decent lower mileage one are outrageous I have decided to pursue owning an S2000. This will be a weekender/take to work car since I have a young child and will need to retain my 4 door accord for daily activities. That will make modding an s2k even better since I will not get used to the performance of the car since I wont be driving it every day. I think that is a plus,ha.
Anyhow, that is my intro.
Looking forward to getting to know the people on the board and learn more of the ins and outs of these cars since I have only ever done body or paint work on them
Thanks
Rick

whats up eric.
glad to be here as well, need to learn more about these before I purchase one.
and just so you know, im in the market for a rio yellow one, ha..or a white one.
after spraying that color and seeing it in the sun, I absolutely love it.
there is one in kansas that I have my eye on right now, I wasnt looking to purchase so soon. But it is the right price, it is clean and looks incredible. just needs some minor paint work repair which would be no prob to take care of.
