Default new member looking to get into a S2K

Hey guys, new member here. I'm new to the whole buying a used car market scene, I always bought cars brand new so i'm looking a for a little guidance from you s2k experts. So I recently checked out this s2k yesterday thats nearby me (check the link below) the car is clean minus a few rock chips typical wear and tear. The car itself has been a garage queen and never saw nj winters he always stored it away and only drove it on the weekends. He wanted 23,000 then dropped it down to 21,000 and we agreed on 19,000, but i feel like the car might be worth 18k. He does have some misc things done to it though. So to get to the point do you guys think its worth 19k? i'm having a buddy who's a honda mechanic check it out on Wednesday (probably should've waited to see what he said first). Any advice is much appreciated.

I see a lot of modifications on that car: Spoiler, Rims, painted calipers, shift light, aftermarket shift knob, subwoofer, painted/aftermarket Honda badges, and some sort of meter or gauge on the dash. The colors and combinations of modifications leads me to believe that when this gentleman takes this car out, he actually drives it. It maybe be a garage queen, 5000 miles per year, but its probably ran harder than usual when taken out. Personally I would not purchase this car for 19,000 and probably not even 18,000. Somewhere along the lines of 17,500-17,800. I also believe that these modifications take away from the value of the car. Now, if the car was completely stock, that would be a different story. I would pay 18,500 for a completely stock 2005 Honda S2000. That means, absolutely no modifications.

Looks like he was a member on s2kca (another forum), and in NJ...he may even be on here??? No under the hood pics, but the mods that are obvious are typical. Looks like he did mainly cosmetic stuff, stereo, speakers, gauges, wheels... go drive it, have someone who knows the car check it out with you...if you like it and get it for your "right" price, then you will have made a good deal.
