New member from Northern Virginia
Hey everyone,
My name is Steve and I'm from the Northern Virginia area. My girl and I are currently searching for our first S2000. I've always liked them since they first came out and figured I'd own one eventually. She is more euro-biased but she likes them as well, so we're splitting it 50/50 and it will join my 2011 Mustang GT Coupe (6spd, bolt on power mods, Brembos, gobs of suspension) and her 2003 Mercedes CLK500 Coupe (exhaust). We plan on keeping the S stock and prefer Yellow, Red, or Black.
I checked out a yellow 2004 today that looked promising, however further inspection revealed it was probably supercharged or turbocharged at some point. The Defi boost gauge was a giveaway, but the worn/burned hood liner was also another clue. I did sit in it (first time in an S2K since ~2004) and it fit like a glove.
The search goes on... hopefully we can find what we are looking for soon. I may actually head up to Philadelphia this weekend to take a look at a red one.
