Maybe the owner was just a fan of the AP1 rear.
That's what I'm hoping.

the other somewhat suspicious thing I saw was the valve cover was scratched along the edge like some one put in headers and rubbed the cover. I'll double check do those exhaust tips look factory or aftermarket?

Kinda tough to tell from that distance, but they look stock to me. What year is the car? Judging only by the wheels, I'm guessing '06 or '07.

It is an 04. the original owner had made some mods he had it from new 11-04 until 7-09 and only 12K miles in that time.

Tinted windows
Had a custom intake you can see where the box was mounted
Looks like a custom exhaust but unsure

I think with this low of miles I shouldn't be to concerned the previous owner did some mods as long as the rear was NOT hit I'm ok with it.

Good point. It's quite possible that he/she had several aftermarket parts on it and decided to put it back to stock prior to selling it. A lot of people sell their stock parts whenever they replace them with aftermarket, often times to generate cash for more aftermarket parts... then when putting it back to stock, some just use whatever is available even if it might not be the same stock part(s) thinking that the next owner might not notice or care.
