New Member from Socal
Hello All,
Just picked up my "new to me" S2000 which is a yellow MY01 w/ around 61,000 miles on the odo. A few quirks here and there, but overall I'm really happy with the car as-is. Spending most of my work days lurking the forums for information and ordering misc nuts and bolts that are missing from the previous owner.
I used to autox a 2002 Acura RSX-S, then moved on to a 2011 Genesis Coupe 2.0T, which was subsequently traded in for a 2012 Nissan Frontier V6. Now that I'm in the S2000, I remember why I enjoyed my RSX-S for so many years while I was younger. High-revving and lightweight, the S2000 is basically what I'd always wished my RSX-S was!
Seems I have a lot of learning to do. So far, the forums have provided me all the knowledge I need to hit the ground running. There's only one thing I'm trying to figure out... which is what this canister-looking thing in front of the radiator is called so I can order the two missing bolts for it.. right now it's just hanging there.
I'm no mechanic, but I enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together.

Thanks! I'm living in Anaheim and working in Irvine, so you'll usually see me stuck on the 5 Freeway.

Just moved to a new place with a garage which had a fairly positive impact on me buying my s2000!Here are a few pics of the older rides.

Yamaha V-Star 950

K20A3 to K20A2 swap.

ZX-6R was mine, recently sold... never even got to see a track day on it.
Definitely my favorite of all my bikes!
The current DD/Grocery-Getter.

So, driving in around a truck for a year with no other outlet for carving corners... I just had to get an S2000.
