New Member - White UK S2000, Worcester
Hi Guys,
I wanted to introduce myself - my name is Will and I live in Worcestershire. I have a fairly varied history of Japanese sports cars over the past few years, including:
* EP3 Civic Type R
* RX 8 PZ (I loved it so much I bought two!)
* Celica GT4 ST 205
* Evo VIII FQ
* mk2 MX5 1.8S
My daily is a nice big comfey Range Rover so I wanted something that would be a real toy. Over the history of cars I have decided that I am a huge fan of rear wheel drive and high revving fun, whilst the MX5 taught me that having a soft top really is the only way to go (even at time time of year), therefore the only logical choice for the next toy was an S2000 as it seems to tick all the boxes.
I just picked up my first S2k, a 2002 UK car with about 110k on the clock with a full history. Drives very nice, has recently been respayed in white with refurbed black wheels - I love the look but Jesus its going to be hard to keep clean! I have a few relitivly easy jobs to do with it that I will no doubt turn to the forum for some help...
* Noticed the window washers are not working, after topping up with water in the pitch black this evening I noticed the fresh water pouring down my drive. Hopefully a relitivly easy fix.
* Noticed one of the side-lights (driver side) isnt working - probably just a bulb with any luck. Had a quick look on the forum about this one, it appears I need to have tiny hands to change the bulb, eekkkk!
* The roof has seen better days - need to find somewhere cheap to get it reupholstered. Ive seen quotes varying massively?
